Description

We know you?ll love our S&W Dark Red Kidney Beans in a 15.5 oz. can. A better meal starts with a better bean. Whether it?s for your favorite family recipe or if you?re trying something new; our beans are always firm, hearty and delicious. If it makes it into the can it?s a darn good bean. These dark red kidney beans are naturally gluten-free, non-GMO, and vegetarian. S&W has been in the bean business for more than 120 years and we put care into our beans, nothing else. What makes our beans the highest quality isn?t just what we put into them; it?s what we don?t. All of our beans are non-GMO, our cans are non- BPA, and we reduced the sodium in our low-sodium canned beans. Call us crazy, but we think the best taste comes from adding the least. We carefully select fields and growers we can trust to meet our unwavering standards. And we even have a full-time team working with suppliers for field visits and quality control sampling. All of our beans are manufactured in the U.S and unlike many other brands; our organic beans are grown primarily in the U.S. We have beans perfect for your favorite recipes including: black beans, garbanzo (chick-pea) beans, kidney beans, pinto beans, navy beans, cannellini beans and chili beans. If you?re thinking ?it?s just a bean? you haven?t tried ours.

Description

The Chana Dal is also known as “Yellow Lentil Dal”. Dal is the generic term used for all lentils in the Indian subcontinent. It is yellow in color and hard in texture. Chana dal refers to chickpea (white chana) that have been processed, in which there is removing of outer husk and polishing of the inner core. This polished, clean and processed core is what we called “Chana dal” - Yellow Lentil Dal. It is needed to soak Chana dal before cooking for 2 to 4 hours and then simmer it while cooking or give cooker pressure of 1 to 2 minutes. Flambé the dal with our Smoked Paprika, Garlic Salt, and Parsley ground spices to give it a unique and pleasant taste.
