Description

Cinnamon comes from the inner bark of the trunk of the tropical cinnamon tree. As the harvested bark dries, it curls up into quills or sticks. Hand-selected McCormick Cinnamon Sticks add sweet warmth and spicy aroma to hot beverages, curries & slow-cooked stews. The slightly spicy and comforting aroma of cinnamon reminds us of winter holidays and family gatherings. To add warmth to festive beverages, use a stick as a stirrer for coffee & hot cocoa or simmer it in apple cider or mulled red wine. Cinnamon sticks infuse slow-cooked stews, braised short ribs, Indian curries and Vietnamese pho noodle soup with rich fragrance and flavor. Place a stick in the pot to add sweetness when poaching fruit or cooking applesauce, rice pudding or oatmeal.

Sun dried apricots from Food To Live offer a great number of benefits to people who eat them regularly. Not only are they fantastically delicious but also rich in all kinds of important elements. In the terms of appearance, apricot fruit is the source of retinol, one of the main elements used in the cosmetics industry. You should definitely try some apricot jam, paste, or cake. However, you shouldn’t forget that sugar isn’t good for the body, so it’s best to choose recipes that don’t contain much of it. There are plenty of those for apricots as these fruits are naturally sweet.

Hazelnuts are overall good for you. In essence, the only reason NOT to eat them is allergy. If you don’t have this type of reaction to this particular food, you should include these nuts in your diet on a regular basis. This will allow you to enjoy all the health benefits of Hazelnuts. These small kernels contain the most folate (also called vitamin B9) as compared to any other nut. To benefit from our hazelnuts, store them in a dry, cool place, or else they might become rancid. Do not open the package if you are not going to use them right away. After opening the package, we recommend using a freezer zipper bag or placing the hazelnuts in an airtight can.
